Branko Pendovski (1927)
a short story writer and playwright. Before his retirement he worked as
an editor and director of the publishing houses Kočo Racin and Kultura.

Plays: Ne sakam da umram poleka (I Don’t Want to Die Slowly)
1969. Plays: Studenti, Pod piramidata, Potop, Prechek (Students,
Under the Pyramid, Flood, Waiting) 1973; Patuvanje, Naslednici,
Ljubovnici (Travel, Heirs, Lovers) 1980. He has been included in
anthologies of modern Macedonian short stories and plays and has been
translated into several languages. Award: Vojdan Chernodrinski.
