Fahri Kaja (1930)
a poet, short story writer,
translator, and anthologist. He worked as a journalist and editor-in-chief of
the newspaper Birlik. He was the founder of Sesler magazine. Fahri
Kaja taught Turkish Literature at the Pedagogical Academy in Skopje. Short
story collections: Srekjno (Good Luck) 1978; Gospogjica (Miss)
1997; and Popladnevno sonce (Afternoon Sun) 1998. Poetry collections:
Prvi chekori (First Steps) 1952; Glasovi od selo (Voices from the
Village) 1958; Doviduvanje (Good-Bye) 1965, and Detski sonishta
(Children’s Dreams) 1991. Criticism: Izbrani tekstovi (Selected
Texts) 1995; Anthologies: Antologija na sovremenata turska poezija
na makedonski jazik (Anthology of Modern Turkish Poetry in Macedonian) 1985;
