Zhivko Chingo (1935-1988)
а short story writer, novelist,
and playwright. He also worked as a journalist. Director of the Macedonian
National Theatre and advisor to the State Committee of Culture. Short story

Kengurov skok (Kangaroo Leap) 1979; Makjavejskite praznici (The Maciavy
Holidays) 1982. He has been translated into the Serbian, Croatian, Albanian,
Russian, Polish, French, Slovenian, Hungarian, and German languages. Awards:
