Bogomil Gjuzel (1939)
a
poet,
playwright, essayist and translator. Education: graduated from the
Faculty of Philolosophy, Department of English Language and Literature, Sts.
Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. Artistic program
director of Struga Poetry Evenings festival, 1971-1993. Worked as a dramaturge
at the "Dramski teatar" in Skopje. Presently, director of Struga Poetry Evenings

B. Shaw, E. Bond, S. Shepard, E. O'Neill, S. Beckett, H. Pinter, B. Henley, and
selections from T. S. Eliot, W. H. Auden, E. Dickinson, C. Simic. Has co-edited
and translated into Macedonian an anthology of contemporary American poetry.
Awards: (domestic) – Brakja Miladinovci (twice); (abroad) – Aleksa
Shantikj (Croatia).
