Radmila Trifunovska (1939-1994)
a poet, prose writer and
translator. She worked as a journalist for Nova Makeodnija, and an editor for
Makedonija magazine of the Macedonian Immigration Organization. Short
story collections: Zhena i vojna (Woman and War) 1968 and Vrakjanja
(Returns) 1982. Poetry: Zli dozhdovi (Evil Rains) 1967;
Crna ptica (Black Bird) 1968 and Crni trevi (Black Grass) 1970. Her
poetry in Black Grass was the first Macedonian book translated into
Esperanto. Her story is included in the Anthology of 100 Best Yugoslav Mini Stories.
