Dragi Mihajlovski (1951)
a short story writer and
translator. Professor at the Faculty of Philology at the Department for English
Language and Literature. He translates from the English language. His prominent
translations include those of Shakespeare, Milton, Wordsworth, Eliot, Wilde. His
short stories have been translated into Serbian, Croatian, English, Turkish,
Albanian, and German. Short story collections: Rechno ulishte (River
Mouth) 1981; Ġon (Sole Leather) 1990; Skok so stap (High Jump)
1994; Tripolskata kapija (The Tripoli Gate) 1999. Essays and
selections: Neraspnati bogovi (Uncrucified Gods) 1991, and Pod
Vavilon (Under Babylon) 1999. Awards: Racin Award, Grigor Prlichev.
