Jadranka Vladova (1956)
a short story writer, essayist,
translator. She is a professor at the Faculty of Philology at the Department for
Macedonian Literature and South Slavic Literatures. Short story collections:
Skarbo vo mojot dvor (Skarbo in My Yard) 1986; Voden znak (Water
Sign) 1990. Children books: Izmisluvanje na svetot ili Likijada
(Inventing of the World, or Lyciada) 1992; Devojcheto so dve iminja (The
Girl with Two Names), 1993. Essays: Volshebnosta na zborot (Magic
of the Word) 1993. Awards: Best Children Book.
